Andrew( Andy) Jordan and  Debra Jordan live in Bowling Green , KY.  Between them they have four grown children.

I came from a large family with six brothers and sisters  (the son of a minister and a school teacher).  I learned from an early age that if you wanted something you were going to have to work for it.  Since not working was never an option I started selling seeds, running errands for neighbors, mowing yards and whatever else I could do for some income.  My father taught me that whenever someone hires you to do a job you should always do a little extra.  “ Do more than you get paid for now and someday you will be paid for much more than you do.”

The horrible economic conditions of the early 80’s landed me in the Wendy’s restaurant industry as an hourly employee with no experience.  My willingness to outwork everybody quickly moved me through the ranks as a crew chief, trainer, shift leader, and assistant manager.  Within a year I was the top performing manager in our 30 store franchise. I was awarded Manager of the year for 1983. During the next fifteen years I went to multi- unit supervision for three restaurants, then five, and then thirteen.  I was promoted to an equity partner and spent the next eleven years as an operating partner for as many as eleven stores.  While I was very successful at this, I always wanted a business that I could truly call my own, being able to provide my customers with my own brand of “a little something extra”.

PMD offered a business that provides excellent products and services. It can be started by one person with no debt and very little risk of capital.  It has a proven operating system with unlimited income potential.  I felt that this was a business that I could start by myself and eventually increase to a small staff that I could work closely with to give a great level of service and satisfaction to my customers. I could take control of my work schedule and have the time with family and friends that I had virtually given up. The people that I have become associated with are committed to my success. All I have to do is what they tell me and my success is guaranteed. I only have to add the work. I started as a Power Marketing Licensee in November of 2008 and am now a PMD Furniture Direct franchisee since late 2009.

I have been active in children’s sports programs as a coach and Cub Scouts. We support the local arts in Bowling Green.  Debra and I always have a home improvement project going. We are avid do-it-yourselfers. When not doing these things we love gardening, traveling the Caribbean, and traveling the western United States.
