John and Kathy Grof have been married for 24 years.  We have 3 boys- T.J. is 23 and married to Ciara and has 2 sons, Karson (3) and Kamden (1)– Adam is 21 and attending Ohio State University – Ryan is 19 and is attending Bowling Green State University.

John has been a Power Marking Direct licenced dealer since June 2007 and a PMD Furniture Direct franchisee since August 2009  in Toledo, Ohio.

Before becoming a Power Marking Direct licenced dealer John owned and operated a family restaurant for 10 years. John was President and Vice President of the Oak Harbor Little League Association for 10 years.  He also coached in the league for 12+ years, and then moved on to assist with the Oak Harbor High School baseball team for 3 years.

John has always followed his own path, seldom doing what others may have expected. John is not afraid to try new things and welcomes challenges.  John chose PMD because the company was different from the day to day operation of the family restaurant. Having never been in “sales” this was indeed a challenge and different road to follow, with a potential that seemed to offer a better income than that of the restaurant business.  The Fact that PMD offered a proven model, that when followed leads to success, was a perfect venture for someone new to sales.

John’s goals/aspirations are to develop his business into a dominant player in his market while continuing to build a successful family business.
