Atlanta Furniture Direct

Atlanta Furniture Direct, owned by Don Hodack, started as a Power Marketing Direct licensee in May 2004 and became a PMD Furniture Direct franchisee in October 2009.  PMD offered him the opportunity to start a business and work flexible hours without spending days at a time on the road.  In fact, Don worked a consulting job in Atlanta for 10 years that required significant travel.  However, remaining at home is important for Don and his girlfriend Christa.

Don can now the lifestyle he chooses, which involves softball, playing darts in a league and boating.  Don and Christa enjoy making time to boat north of Atlanta and traveling to Pensacola, Florida to salt water fish.  They also enjoy the opportunity to spend time with their dog Toby.

Don was born in Pennsylvania as one of six children.  He later briefly attended Kings College, where he played football, and then transferred to East Stroudsburg University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

His current territory consists of Stone Mountain Georgia, a suburb of east Atlanta. Don admits people travel from all over Atlanta to visit his 6,000 sq. ft. warehouse where he specializes in practically everything. His merchandise consists of mattresses, bedrooms, dining rooms and living rooms sold under the Royal Heritage Home Furnishings brand.
