Tallahassee Furniture Direct is a locally owned and operated family business.

Owner Sandi Varn is a native Floridian and has been a resident of Tallahassee since graduating from Florida State University. She served 11 years as a Research/Marketing Specialist for a CBS affiliate and then became the Vice President of Marketing for Super-Lube 10-Minute Oil Change, Inc., the largest independent oil change company in the nation. Sandi left Super-Lube after 13 years to open her own advertising agency, Varn Consulting. When her husband, George, became a Power Marketing Direct licensee and opened Tallahassee Furniture Direct in 2003, she helped part-time with accounting and administrative duties but in the summer of 2006 chose to work full-time in the family business. In 2009, Sandi acquired Tallahassee Furniture Direct from her husband and became a PMD Furniture Direct franchisee. Her husband George now works full time as a corporate Field Sales Director for PMD Furniture Direct.

Sandi’s oldest son, Josh, works full time in the business and not only sells, but manages the warehouse, inventory, merchandising and operations. Her youngest son, Shane, handles all setups and deliveries, a true family business.

The Varn family’s reputation in the Tallahassee community is built on honesty, integrity and reliability. They take this very seriously, working hard to always under promise and over deliver.
