Steve Sowers joined PMD in January 2009 and quickly franchised his store, Yuma Arizona Furniture, in August 2009 through PMD Furniture Direct.  PMD attracted Steve because he was looking for something that he could truly enjoy and the chance to build his own business.  Through this opportunity, Steve hopes to create a sustainable business that provides great customer satisfaction, great value for the dollar and fine home furnishings at unbelievable prices.

Steve attended Western Arizona University and earned a degree in business administration and accounting.  However, most of Steve’s experience was learned on-the-job after school.  In fact, Steve worked as a representative for Schwan for more than 20 years and made many lasting relationships with his clients during his in-home visits.

Steve is married to Jo Ann, who works at Fertizona as the main secretary.  Together, they have four children – Tammy, Bryan, Eric and Autumn – along with eight grand kids.  Steve cherishes his grandchildren, saying they are the apple of his eye and the best gift anyone can ever receive.

Presently, Steve has served the Yuma and Imperial Counties, and their surrounding areas, for the last year-and-a-half with his fully merchandised store.  His goal is to build a reputation as a gentleman who always wears a smile and treats his customers with integrity.
